Day
Program

A Day Program for Adults, or a Day Treatment for Adults (DTA), provides a variety of day options for individuals with developmental disabilities. The service focuses on creating experiences based on individual and group interests that are comparable to those enjoyed by others of the same age.

Activities offered include community skills exploration such as dining at restaurants, attending movies, shopping, engaging in arts, bowling, and more. The program also supports personal care, health oversight, and skill acquisition, promoting greater independence and inclusion with peers. Depending on individual needs, services may also include behavioral support and/or nursing.

The Day Program operates year-round, Monday through Friday, for 8 hours each day, with the exception of the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

This service is authorized by the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). To qualify for funding, individuals must be approved through Arizona Long Term Care Services (ALTCS).
