A Foster Home or a Developmental Home is a residential support model for individuals with developmental disabilities who prefer to live with a family or a single person. This service offers a wide variety of living and support arrangements, providing a more intimate and personal approach to teaching activities of daily living.
Our providers, whether as a family or a single individual, are independent contractors who welcome individuals with developmental disabilities into their homes. This setting allows individuals to receive tailored support in a comfortable, family-like environment. Developmental homes are available for both children and adults, with options for Adult Developmental Homes (ADH) and Child Developmental Homes (CDH).
This service is authorized by the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and individuals must be approved through Arizona Long Term Care Services (ALTCS) to qualify for funding.
