About the Role

Nile Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate In-Home Caregivers to join our Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Department. This department provides essential services to children and adults with developmental disabilities residing in their homes.

We are looking for individuals who are dependable, patient, and empathetic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Successful candidates will demonstrate a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in their care and a positive attitude in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:
As an In-Home Caregiver, your role will include but is not limited to:
- Providing hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as:
* Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
* Meal preparation.
* Medication administration and reminders.
- Offering companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
- Supporting individuals with tasks such as:
* Grocery shopping.
* Scheduling and attending appointments.
* Homework assistance.
- Maintaining accurate records of care and health monitoring.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Reliable transportation and communication.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to obtain a non-restricted Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

  • Must maintain current training and certifications in First Aid, CPR, Article 9 and Prevention and Support.

  • Must be able to pass a background check.

  • Proficient in English (read, write, speak).

  • Proficient in using a computer and navigating applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Google Calendar, as well as performing tasks like printing and scanning documents.

  • Must be a team player and able to complete job requirements with minimal supervision.
